I think that’s a great question and I don’t believe you need to lower your expectations and I like to double check that I am being realistic with my goals. I make sure that I set time aside for the things that are important to i.e., morning is for self-care so that’s done no matter what happens during the day. I’ll be including daily walks/ skating this Winter, and I set a day aside to go visit my parents each week.
I like using the wheel of life to see which area of my life needs my attention and it’s a great starting point in addition to the intentional year document Alicia shared with us to pinpoint our goals for each area of our life.
